What the hell is a "Nachtmerrie"?
A Nachtmerrie (Nightmare) is like another depiction of a sleep paralysis demon.
That feeling when you're trying to sleep and there's a weight on your chest keeping you from getting a full breath of air - That's a Nachtmerrie!
What do Nachtmerries do?
We feed off the energy of living things (humans, animals, plants, etc.) Traditionally, we disturbed your sleep, but with the evolution of technology, it's far easier to just keep you awake all night entertained on your phone to get my fill of energy!
